"What would life be like if we all lived in paradise" Life is not like that , each day some one has to meet a problem head on whether it be unemployment , sickness or death we all have our turns, but we cannot stop living. We come to realise that there are some mysteries we cannot answer , some problems we can't solve , many situations that will never be agreeable , but we can be happy in spite of them. If we can do something about the problem or challenge, fine but if not we then accept it and learn to live with it. We make mountains out of molehills, with a false sense of proportion we make minor incidents into major catastrophes. Physical ailments, rejection, depression, anxiety - these are inevitable realities of the human condition. We can let them Tera us apart or we can accept them for what they are. They can transform, mature, and educate us. Acceptance should absorb pain like a sponge. It's comes from the overwhelming desire to enjoy life in spite of suffering. It neither lashes out in blame nor turns inwardly towards self pity. It realises that suffering is an experience of the human condition and if we are to feel human we must feel suffering.
